What is TEDx?

In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading", TED has created a programme called TEDx. TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxHousesofParliament, where x = independently organised TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organised.

At TEDxHousesofParliament, TEDTalks videos and live speakers combined to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

Videos of each speaker from our 2012 event are now available to watch again online.

TEDxHoP Livestream

Tickets for TEDxHousesofParliament 2013,  are now sold out but you can still watch the live event stream here on June 14th.

We will also be running a  official TEDxHoP simulcast event, in conjunction with The Education Foundation and Hub Westminster. Taking place in the heart of London, it will be an interactive day including live broadcast of all of the main sessions plus special guests, mini panel discussions from TEDx speakers and thought leaders from across the sector who are 'rebooting democracy'. Tickets for the official simulcast can be purchased here

The main event will take place in the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre and The Palace of Westminster.
